Summary

The movie I chose for this week is Bolt. It is a story about a dog. 

I want to make all the "it" into "he" or "she", because they could talk like human in this movie, or the whole article would become too confused to understand. 

Summary

The movie I chose for this week is Ice Age IV. This movie is the last volume of Ice Age. 

The setting of this movie is about the contimental drift. The land they lived in is moving! All of them should survive this and get back to their family.

In the beginning of the movie, the story began with Sid's family came back to find Sid. Sid's father, mother, brother, and grandmother came back to find Sid. Sid was so happy when he saw them. In the first volume of this series of story, Sid was abandoned by his family and then he met Manfred and Diego. His family met Sid, and told Sid that they also missed him. However, when Sid went to find his grandmother, his family left him again. They told Diego and Manfred that all they want to do is just to leave Grandmother with Sid to take care of her. Because they thought that Grandmother is a burden and trouble to them, they just wanted to leave her with Sid. Sid was abandoned again by his own family. He was upset.

Sid's family came back to him.

Summary

The movie I chose for this week is Ice Age III: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. This is the sequel of the second volume of the movie. 

P.S. Manfred, the mammoth usually was also called Manny in the movie.

The adventure of this movie is about dinosaurs.

In the beginning of the movie, the story began with Manfred, the mammoth, and Ellie, the other female mammoth. They want to have a baby. Ellie was pregant. Manfred was so expected to their baby. Everyone was so happy in this big family. However, in this herd, there is somebody who is unhappy and worried. 

Summary

This movie is the sequel of the movie Ice Age. Sid the Sloth, Manfred the Mammoth, and Diego the Tiger are still the three main characters. And in this movie there will be three more main characters added in their group. 

In the beginning of the story, Sid, Manfred, and Diego lived together in a big basin with many other animals. And Sid was not happy. He wanted to improve himself that he could also do something amazing and remarkable. He thought everybody thought that he is stupid, including his two best friends - Manfred and Diego. 

Meanwhile, there was an old turtle who was trying to tell everybody that the world is gonna to be end. He said the doomday is coming. The ice age was going to be end because the weather was getting hotter and hotter. All the ice - the iceberg and the ground, were melting down. He said all the animals would be die because of the meltdown. On the other hand, Manfred and Diego stopped him because they didn't believe him. They told everyone what the old turtle said was not true, he was scaring everybody.

The movie I chose for this movie is Ice Age. 

The setting of the story is the ice age, and it is also the name of the movie. The main character of the movie is a sloth named Sid, a mammoth named Manfred, and a tiger named Diego. The story began with a big migration of all the animal because of the approaching of the ice age. It seems that all the animals are moving south. 

Sid, the main character, was abandoned by his family "again" in the migration this year. They began their migration without Sid every year. When Sid found that he was abandoned again, it was too late. He was upset about why there is nobody who would really love him. Sid desided to began the trip on his own, so he started the journey alone. 

On the way to south, Sid met two rhinos. Sid accidentally ruined two rhinos' salad, and made them very angry. The two rhinos tried to kill Sid. The only thing Sid could do is running away. And Sid met a mammoth on the way. Sid tried to convince the mammoth to help him. Then the mammoth protected Sid although he didn't want to do that. After the mammoth help Sid chase them from him, Sid wanted to make friends with the mammoth and head south together.

Summary

The setting of the story is from the little town named "Wall". As its name called, there is a long wall surrounding the town. For centuries, there is a guard living by the wall and he stays there in order to prevent people of the town getting across the wall to the outside world. Nobody in the town knows how the outside world is like. 

In the beginning of the story, there is a man of the town, Dunstan Thorn, who tries to get across the wall in order to see the outside world. He managed to get across it. And then he found there is another world with magic. All things there are so fatanstic to him. There are people who use magic, sell "living eyeballs", and witches. He met a beautiful woman there, and fell in love with her. In fact, she was the enslaved princess named Una. However,she won't be free from the incantation unless the bad witch dies. 

He found a magic town outside the Wall.

This week the movie I chose to watch is Bedtime Stories. 

The story begins with an old man who ran a hotel. His name is Marty Bronson. He has a little boy whose name is Skeeter Bronson. The little Skeeter really likes the hotel. In his little eyes, the house is a good place for him to have an adventure. In the night, the old Bronson used to tell bedtimes stories to his little Skeeter before he fell asleep. And it makes the little Skeeter a boy with good imagination. 

However, one day there is businessman, Barry Nottingham, wanted to buy the little hotel to build a new big hotel. The old Bronson had no choices but to sell his hotel because of the getting-worse deficit. And Barry Nottingham promised Bronson to let his son Skeeter be the manager of the new hotel after he grows up.

Summary

This week the movie I choose to watch is "The Terminal". I have already heard about this movie before and I have always wanted to see it. Many of my friends recommended me this movie and said that it is so great to see. 

The movie is about a man without country. In the beginning of the movie, the main character Navorski arrived at the airport in the United States of America. However, when he was trying to exit the airport, there was something happened. He was rejected to exit the airport and then was taken to an office. Dixon, the manager of the airport, tried to explain to Navorski about what happened to his country. 

That is, when Navorski was in the flight, his own country, Krakozhia, was in a war. His country's government had a revolution. The original government to which Navorski belonged no longer existed. His own country no longer existed, so he became a person without nationality. And the airport couldn't let a person without country enter into America. Navorski should wait. He should wait for the new identification and some papers, and those were going to take at least six months. At first, Navorski didn't understand what Dixon was saying because he couldn't understand English. But when he saw TV news he finally realized his country were in war. And gradually he realized that he was a "unacceptable" person who couldn't go anywhere but could only stay in the airport.

Summary

This week the movie I chose to watch is "Beastly". It is just like the modern version of "Beauty and The Beast". The main character of this movie is a good-looking, rich, but arrogant, selfish college student named Kyle Kingson. His father is a famous anchor of the city. His mother left the family when Kyle was little. 

In the beginning of the story, Kyle was in the election of the students representative. He showed his arrogance and disrespect for his classmates who is "not so good-looking". One of his classmates Kendra was a witch. And Kyle pretend to invite Kendra to go to the party with him in order to humiliate and fool her. And then Kendra cursed Kyle that Kyle became an ugly freak. In addition, couldn't the spell be removed unless Kyle meet a girl who really loves him and says "I love you" to him in a year. 

The witch

This week I chose the movie "The Five People You Meet in Heaven". Actually, I have already read the novel a long time ago, maybe when I was a senior high school student, so I almost forgot about the plot of the story. I only remember a little impression on the book. I remember I recommended this book to my friends and said that it is a good novel. After some years, in fact, I didn't know that the story has become the movie. Didn't I know that until I found this DVD in the library.

Summary

The main character of this story is an old man named Eddie. He works in an amusement park named Ruby Pier. He is a maintenance staff. He fixes the facility, keeps all the machines functioning well, makes the children safe. He is lame. He lost his right leg when he was in the military. Eddie usually complains about his life, family, and his "dumb" job, and he always likes to doubt the meaning of his life.

The story begins with the death of Eddie. One day, Eddie worked in the amusement park as usual. At first, nothing special happened, and everyone lives their life as they always do. However, something terrible happened on that day. There are four to five seats within the cart in the "Free Fall", an amusement facility which brings people up to a certain height and then drops toward the floor at a high speed. It seemed to have some problems with the facility. When it brought people to the top, it just stopped suddenly, and then the cart seemed to fall down without any safety measures. After the staff on the top saved the people who sat in the cart, the cart is almost going to fall. And all of a sudden, the maintenance Eddie saw a little girl sitting just underneath the falling cart. At that moment, Eddie exerted all his strength even without the cane to save the girl. Eddie died on that day.
